In this centenary year this outstanding play presents a dramatic and moving tribute to two of the outstanding poets of the Great War.
Owen and Sassoon met under strange and strained circumstances in the Craiglockhart War Hospital for Nervous Disorders in 1917.
In this evocative play culled from letters, diaries and the poems themselves Macdonald has assembled a warm, moving and insightful account of the trajectory of this short but ‘strangely fruitful’ friendship.
Play by Stephen Stephen Macdonald.
