Organised by Uffington Church in conjuction with the Wilfred Owen Association, the day will begin at 2pm with a presentation about Owen's life and work, and will culminate in a special commemorative service at 4.30pm, featuring popular hymns of the day and focus on the Owen family as a member of the congregation. Planned and conducted by Hilary Phillips, the newly refurbished organ will be played by Neil Sollam.
Admission is free, but donations to the Church expenses will be welcome. Refreshments will also be available.
