Dr McLennan will speak about his latest book, Owen and Sassoon: The Edinburgh Poems (Birlinn, 2022), the product of his extensive research on Owen's time in the city and its influence on his life and work.
Neil McLennan is Senior Lecturer & Director of Leadership Programmes at the University of Aberdeen and was formerly Principal Teacher at Tynecastle High School in Edinburgh, 90 years after Wilfred Owen taught at the school during his convalescence at Craiglockhart. He was made an honorary member of the Wilfred Owen Association in 2018.
