A community partnership between Oswestry Town Council, Qube and The Best Of Oswestry is seeking to commission a work commemorating Wilfred Owen.
The bold commission looks to be a poetic and poignant bridge between the town of Owen’s birth, Oswestry, and Ors, the French village where he was killed, just days before armistice was declared.
Once an artist has been selected, a bid will be made to the National Lottery for up to £100K (depending on the work/artist selected).
